The Subaru Sevens kick off at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow, May 16, 2015, at Alapocas Run State Park in Wilmington, Del. The best way to catch this annual showcase of great sevens rugby is by heading to the park—but if you can't make it, we've got the second-best solution.   

The 14th annual Rugby Delaware Subaru Sevens take place May 16, 2015 at Alapocas Run State Park, Wilmington, Del. The Subaru Sevens is home to some of the best sevens rugby in the tri-state area and is the official kickoff of the high school sevens season in the states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey. 

Local favorites The Hampton Heat demonstrated superior speed and ball handling in a 33-15 Fork victory over Bentley University at the ACRC7s on April 26. 

East Stroudsburg University took the Spoon at the ACRC7s in Virginia Beach, holding off a scrappy University of Hartford side to claim a 25-19 victory.

Temple University defeated the University of Dayton in a closely-contested Bowl match at the ACRC7s in Virginia Beach. The final was Temple 28-Dayton 26.

Rugby East Conference rivals The University at Buffalo and St. Bonaventure went head-to-head in the Plate match at the ACRC7s in Virginia Beach last weekend. While size and speed were prominent on both sides, St. Bonaventure's powerful defensive pressure and ball control proved the difference in a 31-5 outcome. 

In a rematch of last year’s final at the ACRC7s in Virginia Beach, Kutztown defeated American International College by a score of 36-27 for the Cup and the championship.

The second annual #ACRC7s at Virginia Beach could not have ended on a more exciting note, as the championship came down to the final minute of an intense Cup match between defending champs AIC and arch rival Kutztown. 

This spring has been unprecedented in the number of collegiate sevens tournaments. With so many regional events producing cup champions, the very best teams are eager to test their abilities on a national level—which is where the ACRC7s in Virginia Beach come in.
