Empire Sevens Round III: Binghamton

The final event of a three tournament series, the Empire Rugby Conference (ERC) Sevens came to Binghamton on April 18. In the end it was out-of-conference guest Kutztown dominating the proceedings, defeating Stony Brook 38-0 in the Cup match.

SCRC Championship

The SCRC Championship in sevens took place April 18 in Knoxville. The Tennessee Volunteers came in as the number two seed, looking to reclaim the SCRC 7's Championship, but came away with a loss in the plate final to number one seed South Carolina by a score of 19-15.

ACRL Championship

The Atlantic Coast Rugby League (ACRL) championship brought the schools of the ACC to the Rugby Athletic Center in Charlotte on April 18-19. When it was all over, the Hokies of Virginia Tech were sevens champs, defeating Clemson by a score of 26-19.
