Volunteers will greet handicapped individuals arriving by bus, personal cars, vans and subway stations and assisting them to the Ben Franklin Parkway or other event destination. After assisting, volunteers will report to the Pennsylvania Convention Center for refreshments and possible re-assignment.

A number of important contests take place this weekend in the Rugby East, ECRC, Big Ten, SCRC and Empire conferences.  

West Virginia Meets Penn State in Rugby East Debut

The Mountaineers look to overcome injuries and the loss of several key seniors in their debut as a member of the D1A Rugby East conference. Penn State escaped a close match against Wheeling Jesuit last week to enter the weekend 2-0.

The first full weekend of collegiate rugby did not disappoint, with several big contests setting the tone for the fall season to come. The stakes are already pretty high as teams try to position themselves for future conference play.

Fall rugby shifts into high gear this weekend as conference play gets underway around the nation. A number of high-profile matches are taking place as teams begin the quest for conference championships and an invitation to the second annual ACRC Bowl Series in Charlotte, N.C.  

Iona College rugby alumnus and co-creator of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Pat Quinn came to the Iona campus on Saturday for the Iona vs Rutgers rugby match. 

It was a beautiful day for rugby over the weekend at PPL Park as London's legendary Harlequin F.C. came to town to play the USA Eagles. 

The Maryland Exiles Black took the first-ever elite high school division cup with a 24-0 win over NJ Blaze White at the 2015 Surfside Sevens. 

Madison Motley and the Heat Elite both brought very physical play and a no-holds-barred attitude to the Men’s College Cup Final at Surfside Sevens 2015. 

Surfside Sevens would like to thank ACTS/MOC and Torri Fetzner for his support of the tournament in 2015. Torri is a good friend of the Philly-Whitemarsh RFC and is particularly well-known for holding court all summer long at Sea Isle.

The Atlantis men’s select side competed for the first time in the Serevi Rugbytown Sevens at Infinity Park on Glendale, Colo., taking home hardware with a 22-17 defeat of the Collegiate All-Americans in the Bowl Final.
