Western Michigan took a 12-0 halftime lead in Kalamazoo, then held on winning 20-12 as CMU fell just short.
Central Michigan and Western Michigan, tied for second in the MAC North, meet to decide the #2 divisional seed to the conference tournament. WMU, undefeated at home this fall, comes off a loss to Bowling Green, while CMU, undefeated on the road, took care of Ball State in its last game.
