The ranking and match-ups were set after Saturday's pool play at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex. The sun rose over the Atlantic Sunday on twelve teams stocked with talent and grit, each capable of beating any other on any given day. After the tremendous Surfsides of 2004, 2005, 2006, we wouldn't have expected any different for 2007. Each year the Surfside winners receive custom Surfside Sevens rugby gear including balls, pint glasses and Tiki trophies. The second annual Royall Lyme Surfside 7s was held last Saturday at the Rec Center Fields in Stone Harbor. Thank you! MARFU Blue, Sucher Dupers, captained by RAF, Shockers, Second City, White Horse, Lancaster, NYAC all winners! MARFU Blue defeated MARFU Gray 24-19 in the Premier Final.
