This video is worth watching for all who coach rugby tackling. The methods and techniques are awesome—well thought out and well presented. Even though they are about football the video is a must-see for all rugby players coaches and trainers.

Wesley College in Dover, DE has announced they will be forming Men's and Women's Rugby Clubs and are now searching for a Head Coach and Assistant Coach. There will be stipends for both positions.

Custom athletic apparel company Boathouse Sports is proud to announce that it has a signed a three year agreement to be the Official Apparel Supplier to the Empire Rugby Conference. Syracuse, Colgate, Stony Brook, Fordham, the Merchant Marine Academy, Brockport and Binghamton rugby programs will all exclusively be wearing Boathouse’s Made-In-America on-field and sideline apparel. As part of the agreement, Boathouse will also be building online Team Stores for each of the teams to facilitate the sale of officially approved fan apparel.

American Collegiate Rugby Championship squads American International College (East Coast) and St. Joe's (Keystone) emerged from the Cup finals with a second and third-place finish, respectively, at the Las Vegas Invitational over the weekend.

Four of the eight teams advancing to the Cup quarterfinals at the Las Vegas Invitational on Friday were ACRC contenders, and two are advancing to the Final Four. 

The elite eight included St. Joseph University and Notre Dame College, who played each other in the Quarterfinal round; AIC, who played Lindenwood; and Kutztown, who played Air Force. Rounding out the bracket were Arizona and Utah. All eight earned their stripes in fierce pool play on Thursday that saw perennial contenders such as Wheeling Jesuit and Bowling Green knocked out of Cup contention.

This inter-conference collegiate sevens tournament will take over the GCVSA Complex in Malvern, PA for two full days as 32 teams from around the country do battle for hardware and glory.

The inaugural URugby Sevens Philadelphia featuring the URugby Challenge Cup, an inter-conference collegiate sevens tournament, takes place April 11-12, 2015 at the GCVSA Complex in Malvern, PA. Be sure to save the date as this will be an exciting weekend of great rugby.

American Collegiate Rugby Championships

High-level men's and women's collegiate rugby competition comes to the Princess Anne Athletic Complex in Virginia Beach, Va. this April 25-26 with URugby Sevens Virginia Beach featuring the ACRC7s.

The Goff Rugby Report has named the American International College-Bowling Green game at the ACRC Bowl Series its college game of the year for 2014. 

“Played at the Rugby Athletic Center in Charlotte, NC, this game was all over the place,” Goff notes. “Tries, comebacks, wild plays, and plenty of athleticism made it enormously entertaining for anyone watching.”
