UNC-Wilmington

UNC-Wilmington Rugby is a team that competes in 15s and 7s Rugby. They are proud members of National Collegiate Rugby Division II and The Southern Rugby Conference.

Notable Accomplishments

Fall 2021

• Southern Rugby Conference Champions (Fall)
• Finished 10th in the Nation for DII colleges.

2018-2019

• 3-3, 3rd in SRC East 

• Finished in the Top 6 of the SRC conference in 7's, with a best finish of tied for 3rd/4th at Furman 7's.

2017-2018

• 2-3 In the Fall conference play

• Top 50 Ranking (Fall DII)

• Finished 11th in SRC 7's series

2016-2017

• Top 25 Ranking (Fall DII)

• Top 4 finish in the Southern Rugby Conference (Fall)

2015-2016:

• Cape Fear 7's Champs

• USA College 7's National Championship Sweet 16 finish

• Southern Rugby Conference Champions (Fall)

• USA College 15's National Championship Elite 8 finish
