University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in Saint Louis
University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis (UHSP) was founded in 1864 as The Saint Louis College of Pharmacy. The university sits in the middle of Washington University’s School of Medicine campus in the Central West End district of Saint Louis. They offer over 15 degrees in health science, including Exercise Physiology, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, Computer and Data Science, and Nursing. Their degrees provide pathways to medical and professional studies including dentistry, medicine, occupational therapy, physical therapy, optometry, pharmacy, and veterinary medicine. The university is the number 1 university in the USA for Return on Investment (ROI) according to a national study by Georgetown University.
UHSP Men’s Rugby is a varsity rugby program from Saint Louis, Mo. The program was founded in 2023 and is coached by Head Coach Peter Lang. Lang is a World Rugby Level 3 coach and has a M.Sc. in Performance Sports Coaching. Lang has worked at the high school, collegiate, semi-professional, professional, and national team levels throughout his 10+ years of coaching. His knowledge of and passion for the sport of rugby has afforded him coaching opportunities around the world, including positions in the United Kingdom (Edinburgh Rugby, Scottish Rugby Academy), Belgium (Kituro Rugby), Japan (Sapporo Yamanote Senior High School), Uganda (Uganda Rugby Union), New Zealand (Crusaders Super Rugby), and the United States (American International College, The College of William and Mary).
