Texas Tech

Texas Tech Rugby has roots dating back to the 70’s. Tech Rugby has made numerous appearance at the State, Regional, and a few at the National level while in D2. The current chapter being written is for Tech to continue to do this but now in D1A. Tech competes in both 7s and 15s and will continue to focus on both in the coming years.

Tech is currently coached by Grant Murchison who started playing rugby with Alliance RFC from the Dallas area in 2000 and then played with Tech in 2007. He then became head coach in 2011.
