Principia College

Principia College Thunder Chickens is looking to build long-lasting relationships with youth rugby programs around the country. They are interested in student-athletes with strong character, good academics, and who play good rugby.

Rugby is a varsity sport at Principia and has the full backing of the institution. In 2022 their rugby team won the NCR D2 National Championship, and as of 2023, we they competing in the D1 Big Rivers Conference in both 15s and 7s, where they finished top of the western division and went to the national quarterfinals in their first season.

Principia College is a 4-year Liberal Arts College with roots in the Christian Science church. It is located on the bluffs of the Mississippi River in Illinois. Principia is a private institution that offers great academic scholarships and strong financial aid.
