The top-10 ranked Davenport Panthers compete in the D1-A Mid South Rugby Conference. In 2011, their second season of intercollegiate competition and first season of division one play, the Panthers were USA Rugby D1 National Champions. Davenport were also 2012 USA Rugby D1-AA National Champions. The team is coached by James Wood
