Tara Roberts, Head Coach
American International College Director of Athletics Matthew Johnson announced the hiring of Tara Roberts as the new women's rugby coach on Thursday, February 1 2018.
Roberts comes to AIC after most recently coaching the Beantown Sevens during the summer of 2017. During the summer, Roberts' team finished second in the NRU tournament and participated in the national tournament. Prior to Beantown, Roberts coached the Old Men's Rugby Club in the fall of 2015. In 2014 and 2015, she coached the North Shore Women's RFC and helped turn the program from last place in the league to beating the number-one seed in the spring playoffs.
"I am thrilled to be joining the AIC women's rugby program," Roberts said. "We have a bright future ahead of us."
