Middlebury College
The Middlebury College RFC was East Coast Rugby Conference Champions in 2012, their second year as a D-IAA team (Middlebury was a founding member of the ECRC in 2011). In the fall of 2013, the club went undefeated on the way to a second straight ECRC title.
The Panthers faced a tough title challenge in 2014 in ascendant American International College, who would unseat Middlebury as conference champion after a highly successful spring of sevens play. The Panthers would finish the fall at 4-2, which despite big wins over Connecticut, Northeastern and Albany, would not be enough to catch the undefeated Yellow Jackets.
Spring 2015 saw Middlebury win the plate at the Armory Sevens (the ECRC sevens tournament), defeating Albany, Fairfield, Colgate, and UMass, and take the Cup at the Chris Munn 7s. In fall conference action, Middlebury went 3-5 as AIC and Boston College dominated 15s play.
Spring 2016 sees the Panther A and B sides play a full schedule of sevens rugby, including stints at the Empire Conference 7s, Armory 7s and Kutztown 7s.
