Davenport University (W)

The Davenport women's rugby team finished third in the 2014 USA Rugby 15s National Tournament, losing only to eventual No. 1 Notre Dame College 26-3 in the second round.

The Panthers finished the fall season 10-1. The coach of the women’s team is Greg Teliczan, hired in late 2012 as the school’s first-ever women’s rugby head coach. The program got off the ground in the fall of 2013. Ambitious from the start, the program entered competitive play at the DI level of USA Rugby.
