Bouncing back from last week’s home loss to conference rival Tennessee, Carolina Rugby improved to 7-1 on the season with a 64-12 victory over Mississippi State. Man of the Match honors went to 8 man Mike Mahon & wing James Whipper.
The Gamecocks travel to Tuscaloosa, AL on Nov. 14 to play Alabama in the Southeastern Rugby semi-finals. Should Carolina win, they will face the winner of Tennessee/ Florida for the Championship title at the ACRC Bowl Series in Charlotte the following weekend.
