Long-Awaited Matchups this Weekend
The weekend sees some long-awaited games as top teams look to solidify or determine conference position ahead of the ACRC Bowl Series in Charlotte on Nov. 20-21.
Lions Seek Revenge in Rugby East Rematch
Kutztown and Penn State XVs meet on the pitch this weekend for the first time since Oct 2014, when the Golden Bears were victorious (see photo above). The game will be a battle for the Rugby East conference championship.
Wisconsin Gets Crack at Indiana
The biggest game of the fall in the Big 10 Rugby Conference pits second-place Wisconsin, who played to a tie against Ohio on Oct. 24, against unbeaten Indiana. The Badgers and Hoosiers compete for a spot in the BTU championship.
Boston College, AIC Meet in Title Bout
The East Coast Rugby Conference championship is on the line as BC travels to American International College. While both teams are heading to Charlotte for the ACRC Bowl Series, the winner will face reigning Atlantic Coast Rugby League champion Clemson University.
Empire Faceoff Pits Syracuse, Stony Brook
Stony Brook looks to defend their Empire Rugby Conference title as they host surging Syracuse, who cracked the top 25 in Goff's national poll this week (at #24). The Seawolves were already there—at #25, making this potentially a great game of evenly-matched squads.
Keystone Playoff: Rutgers (6) at JMU (3)
Rutgers and JMU are both riding a wave as the Black Death recenly recorded "W"s over St. Joes and Villanova, while JMU logged a blowout victory over Shippensburg.
