ACRC Bowl Series College Rugby Tournament Returns to Charlotte
Competition includes schools of the SEC in conference title game
Philadelphia, Nov. 2015—High-level collegiate rugby returns to Charlotte. N.C. Nov. 20-21, 2015 with the American Collegiate Rugby Championship (ACRC) Bowl Series. The Bowl Series, one of the most talked-about events in college rugby, will bring teams, families and fans to the Queen City for top-notch competition from elite squads like Clemson, Indiana and Kutztown.
The Details
This 20-team bowl competition brings college rugby teams from around the country to Charlotte’s Rugby Athletic Center, a sports and events venue located three miles from downtown.
The Bowl Series (#ACRCBowlSeries) features 10 championship bowl games over two days, nine of which take place at the Rugby Athletic Center. The Iona-Delaware Ice Bucket Challenge Bowl takes place in New Rochelle. NY.
Competition gets underway Friday, Nov. 20 in Charlotte and continues through Saturday evening. The event includes the Southeastern Collegiate Rugby Conference (schools of the SEC) championship game between Tennessee and South Carolina, 6:40 p.m. Saturday at the RAC.
All games are live-streamed to a worldwide audience through our media partner Next Level Rugby. The Bowl Series is covered on the ACRC Bowl Series, URugby and Goff Rugby Report websites as well as other media outlets. Teams/standout players are featured in a professional program that is also a valuable keepsake.

The Rugby Athletic Center
Charlotte’s state-of-the-art Rugby Athletic Center sports well-lit fields, locker rooms, modern facilities and meeting rooms. Trainers and other support personnel will be on hand throughout the event. Food, concessions and souvenirs will be available on site.
